Nawaz to face ineligibility soon

The efforts to render Nawaz Sharif ineligible to contest elections by PPP have entered the final phase, revealed sources, adding that this would be done through the Supreme Court and the federal government has already filed an appeal in the apex court against the Lahore High Court's decision. Nawaz Sharif, on the other hand, has also already declared that he would not appeal before the PCO judges against the LHC decision. It has been learnt that PPP would withdraw the appeal from the Supreme Court which would render the stay order against Nawaz Sharif decision ineffective and LHC's decision against Nawaz would come into force. As such, Nawaz Sharif will be ousted from politics and election would also be held in his constituency. Some of the PPP legal experts believe Nawaz Sharif could become ineligible to contest polls through Supreme Court because the attorney general will pursue the appeal in the apex court. In case the Supreme Court disposes off the plea, Nawaz would automatically be out of politics. Certain PPP circles are dead sure about Nawaz's ineligibility.
